He does not need to know all his color palette by heart (it is impossible in principle), but it is enough to know the criteria for the colors that suit him.
For example, knowing that the leading characteristic of a person’s appearance is “Cold”, he is advised to pay attention to cold colors, to create sets of clothes in cold shades. At the same time, saturation and brightness for him may not be so critical, and this gives him more freedom for experiments.
Why know your color type of appearance?
The most important question: why do we need all this?
The fact is that each of us is given a color of appearance from nature. We already have harmonious combinations of colors, which are displayed in shades of our eyes, hair and skin. About the interaction of colors on each other, you probably already know. For example, what color will it be if you mix warm yellow and cold blue? Green!

And, of course, they work for 100% only under this condition. They help to remain themselves and at the same time emphasize the merits of their original appearance.
I want to note that the color type is only part of the personal style formula. In itself, knowledge of the color palette may be useless, as practice shows. Therefore, I always consider the color type in close connection with the stylistic direction and features of the correction.
When a person has an understanding of what he wants to express with the help of style, which style directions are closer to him, we begin to work with his color palette and look for ways to transfer the style with the help of color, connecting corrective techniques. Therefore, any color theory discussed above is not a panacea, and color requires an individual approach, like all other elements of the image.
